Upcycling: The Prototype Paper Egg Necklace

This is the first paper egg necklace I made.  I like wearing it around on occasion.  I've received at least a dozen favorable responses for it.

I'm sorry that the picture doesn't do it justice though.  The crochet thread is green.  The ridges on the egg are a lighter green, with the recesses a darker blue.  It looks rather Mother Earth.  I just made the chain long enough to put over my head without a lobster claw or other fastener.

It was a nice use of a day.
